Peacefully in Freeman Hospital on Sunday 12th May 2024, aged 85 years, Maria (Marie).

Dearly beloved wife of the late Bernard (Benny). Loving mother of Sandra, Ian, Michael and his partner Hayley. Devoted grandmother (nana) of April Elizabeth. Also a loved sister, sister in law, aunt and great aunt.

Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Thursday 30th May at 1.15pm.

Family flowers only please but donations gratefully received on behalf of Dementia UK a collection box will be available following the service.

Many thanks to Maria's friends & family for attending her funeral. We wish to express our gratitude to Clark Pearson & Colin Reid for an excellent service. The sum raised for Dementia UK amounted to £371. Sandra, Ian & Michael.

Aunty Maria was a massive part of my family. Always there for advice and a hug.never missed birthdays or Anniversaries. Very caring. My kids adored her.
I will miss our cup of tea and putting the world to rites.
